Five-time Emmy winner Heather Tom is most known for her role as Katie Logan (Katie Logan Spencer, Katie Logan Forrester) from The Bold and the Beautiful, and now the Daytime Queen is starring in the new horror flick Animal Among Us. Directed by John Woodruff, the Heather Tom monster feature is set to be released on November 19 by Uncork’d Entertainment, one of the top providers of indie horror movies.
IMDb describes Heather Tom’s new horror movie, which has garnered an impressive 7 out of 10 stars thus far.
“Fifteen years ago, two teenage girls were murdered at Merrymaker Campgrounds. The case was filed as an animal attack, the camp was condemned, and the killer never found—but something horrific still waits in those woods.”
Horror movies that center on a Bigfoot-like creature has been done to death, though Animal Among Us looks to be an exciting entry in the subgenre that’s well worth the watch. Described as a white-knuckle, old-school monster movie, Animal Among Us relies on practical effects, making the horror all the more realistic.
The monster flick co-stars Larisa Oleynik and Christian Oliver, from Hawaii Five-O and Sense8 respectively, and is written by Jonathan Murphy. Check out the trailer below to get ready for the Heather Tom monster movie hitting VOD and DVD on November 19.
